Genoa Lakes Golf Club - Resort Course

Situated just two miles from its sibling course at the Genoa Lakes Golf Club in the fertile Carson Valley, the Resort course was designed for distance and power. The Johnny Miller and John Harbottle III-designed course is known for its expansive layout and unparalleled high desert vistas. Measuring nearly 7,300 yards from the tips, the par-72 course features more than 300 feet in elevation change, over 100 strategically-placed bunkers and devious terrain. Fairways lined by native sagebrush and generous, undulating greens demand superior shot-making skills, but the Resort course’s five tee positions make it playable by golfers of varying abilities. Unlike its sibling course, water rarely comes into play on this layout but for the finishing holes, notably hole 17’s island green. The course also features one of the longest driving ranges in northern Nevada.

New to the Resort course is a state-of-the-art fitness center that mimics the magnificent alpine-style clubhouse. The 10,000-square-foot facility features cardio and weight rooms, a pool, saunas, lavish locker and massage rooms, an outdoor fire pit and more.

The Genoa Lakes Golf Club is the annual host of the U.S. Open qualifier in northern Nevada. Genoa Lakes has also been named “Fourth Best New Public Golf Course in the U.S. and Canada,” “One of America’s Best Courses You Can Play,” and “Third Best Public Golf Course in the State of Nevada” by Golf Digest.
